Valuations for the sale of artworks are free of charge, and do not oblige the owner in any way. A first, global quote can be given on the basis of a photograph, a final estimate is only reliable after the inspection of the artwork itself.
The works for sale are catalogued by Bigli Art Broker sas. The correct style-period is always guaranteed. The artist is determined as far as the scientific knowlege regarding a given period of art history allows for such identification. Often attributions are supported by art historical publications or confirmed by experts (on a specific theme or an artist). If there is significant doubt as to whether the work might be by a particular master or one of his followers, Bigli Art Broker will openly declare its uncertainty in attributing a particular artist.
If you decide to sell a property, you can rely on Bigli Art Broker to make the transaction at a fair price, without charge. The expences for photography, insurance, security (the exhibition space is under 24 hour surveillance by a major security company), publication in a catalogue and listing on our Internet site, are at the expense of Bigli Art Broker. The sale commission, and the VAT on the commission, is charged to the Purchaser.
The artworks are insured with Axa Art. This accounts for the transport (when organised by Bigli Art Broker) and for the period they are in custody on our premises.
The insurance is covers the entire value, and this value is agreed and accepted by the insurance company.
The insurance fee is borne by Bigli Art Broker.
